I am a singer songwriter musician who has grown up dreaming and aspiring to great heights. As a child i studied both piano and voice in a classical style which gave me a great foundation to grow from. I travelled North America and Ireland at the age of 13 with a singing group, performed at Carneige Hall with my high school jazz choir and studied every aspect of music in Australia for 2 years. It wasn't until i was in my late teens that i really found my own writing style. I consider myself a writer before anything else. It gives me the ability to vocalize all the words i can't in conversation. Last year i was given an opportunity to record a demo in Nashville which has only increased my resolve to kick down every door in my path. Unfortunately life has a way of holding us back and this year has been a perfect example with death and illness plagueing my family. It has been through this that i have found inspiration and a hope that my music can touch lives.

I am honestly not sure what catagory my music falls under. I am a bit of a musical cameleon but i feel most drawn to pop, rnb and folk when i write. I hope that this competition will help me to establish some connections that will help take me to the next level while giving me some clear direction.
